"Olive Trees and Moonlight: Montegufoni" is one of a series of paintings that was
inspired by the light of the full moon filtered throught the silver-green leaves of
olive trees on the terraced hillside of Castello Montegufoni, southwest of Florence.
It was a late evening in June and the sky and the trees glowed in the silver light.
